TableRef

Struct TableRef

Source
pub struct TableRef {
    pub catalog: String,
    pub schema: String,
    pub table: String,
}
Expand description

Fully-qualified three-level table identity (catalog.schema.table).

Names are carried verbatim; identifier-safety (quoting/validation) is applied by the backend at DDL-emit time via twg-type-map::identifiers, not here.

Fields§

§catalog: String

Catalog (top-level namespace, e.g. a Unity Catalog catalog).

§schema: String

Schema / database within the catalog.

§table: String

Table name.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TableRef

Source

pub fn new( catalog: impl Into<String>, schema: impl Into<String>, table: impl Into<String>, ) -> Self

Construct a table reference from its three levels.

Source

pub fn dotted(&self) -> String

Dotted catalog.schema.table rendering, for logs and error messages.

This is a display convenience, not DDL — it applies no quoting.
