OffsetSpan

Struct OffsetSpan

Source
pub struct OffsetSpan {
    pub topic: String,
    pub partition: i32,
    pub start: i64,
    pub end: i64,
}
Expand description

A half-open range of source positions [start, end) on one topic partition.

Half-open so adjacency is exact: [0, 10) then [10, 20) are contiguous and union-merge to [0, 20) with no off-by-one. end == start is the empty span.

Fields§

§topic: String

Source topic / stream name.

§partition: i32

Source partition (0 where the source is unpartitioned).

§start: i64

First position covered (inclusive).

§end: i64

One past the last position covered (exclusive).

Implementations§

Source§

impl OffsetSpan

Source

pub fn new( topic: impl Into<String>, partition: i32, start: i64, end: i64, ) -> Self

Construct a span; end should be ≥ start.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> i64

Number of positions covered.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether the span covers no positions.
