pub enum SaltStrength {
Absent,
Empty,
TooShort,
Placeholder,
Usable,
}Expand description
Classification of a configured salt’s strength. Deliberately carries NO salt value — only the verdict class — so it is safe to log and to assert on in tests without exposing secret material.
Variants§
Absent
Salt is unset (None).
Empty
Salt is present but empty or whitespace-only.
TooShort
Salt is non-empty but shorter than MIN_SALT_LEN characters.
Placeholder
Salt is an obvious placeholder (e.g. changeme) or all-identical chars.
Usable
Salt is non-empty, long enough, and not an obvious placeholder.
